Very nice. Although, I think the blurry/glowing text is taking the "blur" requirement a bit too far. I would keep the text and logo simple so it doesn't distract.

Actually, I really like your other variations I seen on your web site and the one on the Brazilian Inkscape site. I wish I understood Portuguese :)

The use of blur adds a nice sense of realism and depth to this image. The only thing I would change is the jagged edge on the leaf. It looks almost as if the image is pixelated there, although the effect is obviously intentional. It still seems inconsistent with the rest of the image.
